Painting Workshops
In this two hour workshop I will take you through the process of observational drawing and painting. Learn how to sketch realistically and proportionally, before experimenting with shading techniques. I will also show you how to glaze your pieces before you take them home with you. Tulips are a great flower to study as they come in such a variety of bold colours. I will prepare your A3 wooden canvas before you arrive with striped colours of your choice if you let me know in the ‘extra notes’ section below what you would like. I normally choose a dusky colour paired with off white for my paintings.
Fine Art Floral Workshop - £50
Watercolour verse wreath - £30
In this 1.5 hour workshop you will learn how to paint your own watercolour verse wreath on textured 30cm x 30cm watercolour paper. I will show you how to use write in a calligraphy font. I will also guide you through the process of creating a detailed painted wreath with watercolour paints. You will be able to use all colours and flowers of your choice and I will have bouquets and books for you to copy from. Please come ready with the text you will be writing in the middle of your piece or have it printed out with you.
